Edward Snowden, who became the public champion following NSA leaks, recently spoke about Satoshi Nakamoto. Snowden is viewed as a celebrity within tech circles. Following the NSA leaks, he left the USA. 

However, he has attended cryptocurrency conferences and other tech events remotely. Bitcoin, one of the biggest tech innovations of the 21st Century, is the focal point of attention for most tech enthusiasts.

Snowden praised the discretion of Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto, who managed to remain pseudonymous despite the enthralling success of blockchain. 

The Bitcoin lightening Network, a secondary network tethered to the Bitcoin blockchain, has also caught the attention of Snowden. He recently took to Twitter to share the Whitepaper of Bitcoin.

Bitcoin’s Invention Mystery

The mystery of Bitcoin’s invention is as fresh as ever. Thus far, several individuals have claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto. However, most tech experts agree that thus far, the real founder of the massively popular blockchain and DeFi industry has remained unknown. 

Giving a shout-out to the Bitcoin founder, Edward Snowden, claimed that it is a remarkable feat to maintain for 14 years.

Answering a question posted by Leland Mcknight, Snowden responded that thanks to cryptocurrencies, the transactions can get verified in seconds on the lightning network. 

On the other hand, some Twitter users have nominated Snowden, the former cyber intelligence advisor, to be Satoshi Nakamoto. However, he has firmly denied these remarks.

The mention of Satoshi Nakamoto and the Bitcoin whitepaper by Edward Snowden is not a coincidence. October 31st, 2020, marks the official 14th anniversary of Bitcoin.
